SDS (Safety Data Sheet) which earlier was known as MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), is a requirement when using chemicals on site.
SDS are used to ensure the safe supply, handling and use of chemicals. They need to be provided for anyone who use chemicals in the workplace, so employees use them safely without risk of harm to users, surrounding people, or the environment.
SDS are a must if a chemical is hazardous and is being supplied for use at work, or contains small amounts of a hazardous substance.
